This hot chocolate drink is so lovely before bedtime- tastes great, easy to make & has so many benefits!

This hot chocolate tastes lovely and is made with mainly milk so nice and creamy. I enjoy it as an evening drink and I feel it has helped me to fall asleep and have a deep restorative sleep.

I tried this with homemade oat milk the first time and it went super gloopy, which worried me a bit, but I’ve made it differently since and it’s been lovely! It’s not overly sweet, and has a nice hot chocolate taste. There is a slight artificial taste to it (maybe from the sweetener or the chocolate flavouring?) but nothing bad, and it feels like a nice little treat before bed.I normally use cacao powder with a bit of honey before bed, so this tastes a bit sweeter and less chocolatey by comparison, but it’s still really enjoyable - plus this one has the added bonus of all the sleepy ingredients, which I think have helped me feela bit more relaxed!I’ve been using a heaped teaspoon and it blends really smoothly with no lumps or grainy bits at the bottom. You’ll easily get the full 30 servings out of it.Definitely feels like a nice addition to my wind down routine, would recommend!

I have tried numerous blends of cocoa for aiding sleep so I will admit I was not expecting much. For context the previous blends I tried were all too sweet, or tasted odd.This Dream Flow suggests a mix of hot milk and, hot water. As per the instructions I made one cup. The taste is very good, rich hot chocolate not to sweet but the perfect amount of sweetness for my palette ( I dont eat a lot of sweet things, and cant take saccharine or fake sugar, for context) . There was something else in the blend but it was pleasant and rounded the cocoa off.Now, I mad one cup of apx 350ml, and I shared it with my husband and we both wanted to see if we would even like it, I kid you not, within 30 mins we were both dozing while the tv was on. That doesn't happen to us. We both woke at the same time and said at the same time " well that works", we both had a better sleep than usual, while we were both awake a few times the sleep quality was better.

I dont really like the taste, a bit bitter. Not sure about my sleep, possibly helpful, hard to know. It didnt keep me awake anyway! But wont buy again, too expensive.

That's an impressive range of ingredients, and I definitely find it helps me sleep deeper and longer. I have a cup made with hot water and milk (as recommended) about 30 minutes before bedtime.I would say this product tastes of hot chocolate but personally I don't find it quite as palatable as standard hot chocolate. I don't dislike the flavour but can't say I especially enjoy it either. I can't fault its functional qualities, though.At the time of writing this product costs about £30 on Amazon. A bag contains around 30 servings of one heaped teaspoon. So the cost is effectively £1 per serving, and a bag should last you around a month. It's clearly not cheap, but you are of course getting a lot of beneficial ingredients for your money.Overall, I award this 'Dream Flow' hot chocolate sleep aid four stars.
